Hi , I'm using a 500s running oscam 1.20 to serve my brothers Vu duo and for the last couple of days his encrypted channels have gone off.
If he restarts the cam (CCcam) it works for about 1 minute and then goes off again.

I've just checked the oscam status page and his ip addy is changing all the time.

Is someone hacking into his box ? He has flashed 3 different images and 2 versions of CCcam and tried new configs but still the same thing happens.
Anyone got any ideas ?

it sounds like his internet connection is dropping out mate??

phone the ISP and get them to check the line!

No it's definitely been hacked digg. I changed his c line and it's working fine now although I'm still getting multiple ip's trying to connect.

I would change the port number and dyndns of the server also mate to be honest...

can you access all the boxes?

There is only my brother and sister using it. I might try changing ports etc thanks for the idea

Does anyone know whats going on here.
This is from my status page in oscam

cant you just set the box to a static IP and turn of DCHP, plus like other have said change password to dreambox, hopeful them that should sort out that issue, but know nothing about CCcam and Oscam sorry.

Using IPtrackeronline.com, I have just checked two of the IP addresses trying to log on to your server, one is from Morocco, one is from Serbia.

Digger's suggestion is wise. Change the dynds/noip address you are using for the server.

Thanks Abu. How do I change the noip address ? I thought the purpose of noip was that the ip would never change

Thanks Abu. How do I change the noip address ? I thought the purpose of noip was that the ip would never change

The purpose of noip is to point incoming requests to the correct place, your IP address will change but noip will resolve it to your new IP,providing your running their update software,

But you can change your noip address i.e. charlie.noip.org to senator.zapto.net, only people who know your new noip address will have access to your server :)

Don't forget to change the noip address in your clients lines ;)

As for how to change it,go into your account and click the hosts/redirect tab, there should then be an option to create a new host, which is what your noip address is called :)

Ah cheers wiz. I knew I could change it that way but I though Abu was talking about another way to change it and leave the line as it was. I just couldn't figure out how that would be possible because it would just be the same for whoever was hacking the account.

I only share with my brother and sister but out of curiosity is it possible with no-ip to have a separate no-ip address for every client ?

Not sure with free account but yes with paid, or use two different free DNS providers :)

That's interesting. I have a paid account because I didn't want to have to log in every month to keep it active. So if you had 10 peers you could have them all on a different no-ip account ? Not much use to me with just my brother and sister but interesting to know.

Yep although unsure whether there is a limit of host accounts you can create :)
