Hi guys,

Ive been tasked with repairing an iPad 2 - the battery no longer how long its plugged in for is stuck at 3%. I think Im correct in saying this has happened since iOS7 was installed on it and after doing some reading it seems that this is a common problem?

Is it possible to reinstall iOS 6 on it to see if that resolves the problems? Im tempted to buy another battery just in case its that, but based on a google search or two Im convinced its the fact it doesn't like iOS 7. I know from experience the iPhone 4s had the same problems when the new iOS was installed.

Thanks as always!!

According to Macworld it's hard but possible - I upgraded my iPad2 to IOS7 and have no problems though?

Thanks, will give it a look. Ive run the Apple diagnostics on the device and its possible its the battery. The owner is going to take it to an Apple shop for them to change the battery, the only problem is the nearest one is about 1 1/2 hours drive :)

Thanks again
