VU+ Duo Idiot guide to VU+ Duo set up?

I`ve had a TM500 super for a couple of years now and have just acquired a VU+Duo on the cheap.Are there any foolproof guides on transferring my current line over to the new box.

Will any twin lnb,be ok?

Twin LNB will be fine one for each tuner.

Youll find you emu config in var/etc on the TM just back that up and open it in Notepad++ and copy and paste the line.
On the Duo most images have the emu config in the etc folder some like OpenATV in usr/keys paste the line into the emu connfig save and job done. All done by FTP Filezilla or similar FTP program.

Just hooked the box up and I get the Openvix screensaver but I can`t do anything!I`ve changed remote batteries and the box is receiving the remote ok but nothing is happening.

Looks like the image on the box is corrupt, youll need to reflash.

If its a clone make sure you flash it with a suitable image

I reckon it`s a clone.It`s got a sticker on the top saying not to use any other images except www.+++++++.tv
Anyway,I flashed a new image and all seems good except I`m having bother getting a channel list and my line put on.
Countless tutorials online but I`m still stuck with fta channels and no guide.
It records and plays ok.
