Just this side of HELL.....
Ok,

I had ICS all set up thru my Laptop at home, all was working ok, However,

Now i have broadband installed thru another base unit and this is the thing, how do redirect the whole thing so the b/b connection is the main internet connection but still keeping the dial up on the laptop.

I seem to have all connections in place and the network works......when it wants to...... :) However, no other base units on network can browse internet via int explorer - even laptop??????????

Regards

have you told each PC that it is not part of a peer to peer (ad-hoc) network?

and told it is is part of an infrastucture?

cant look at mine now as I am sat in a hotel in reading......

Nope, be interested to hear more of that tho m8 when you get chance :)

Go to your wireless network icon,
right click it select STATUS
Select PROPERTIES
Select WIRELESS NETWORKS
Select ADVANCED

and select the INFRASTRUCTURE option

do that on all yer PC's and rebbot them all and see what happens:)

Not got wireless network option m8 yet....installing wireless router at w/e :). Think i've isolated the problem, the base unit that feeds b/b to other units is the only one being forced to have an ip addy 192.168.0.1(normal network addy) - whereas all others are detect auto.

If i change the option on b/b machine it knock out b/b and goes back to the dial up config i had before on this machine to connect thru the laptop(dial up). If i change all other machines to match b/b machine i lose b/b sharing on these bases???????

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
