Android Huawei tablet

hi guys got a huawei t5 tablet 16gig , the tablet is ok but its bloated with shit i don't want and cant get rid of . only 1 gig available for use straight out the box . can the unit be formatted like a pc and a new operating system (andriod) installed cheers joe for any replys
