how do i update - tom tom go 300 please

Hi

my software on my tom tom go 300 is 5440 is there a update ?? if so how do i install it, please.

also is there a new version for the uk maps ??

i have only just got this so please a step by step of how i put this on my tom tom and where to put these files[ as i see i have many folders in my tom tom ] would be realy appreciated, also when i put these files in do i delete anything.
