...You could set the parental guidance in internet options to high, and he wont be able to access any sites.
The so called "Nanny" programs just dont work for a large proportion of todays computer savvy kids who often have far more computer expertise than their parents. Chances are, if a parent is having to ask how to block sites etc then their kid already knows far more than they do !
OK, now you have me interested. How they get round the following simple restrictions
- set them up as user instead of admin so no installing extra apps
- password protect admin accounts and bios (so can't change boot order to boot from other device).
- Encrypt hard drive to stop it being accessed from alternate o/s
- lock down PC with parental controls, say net nanny or Live Family Safety
Can't you get around opendns just by using IP address ?
