Good example of reason to avoid the sun.

He was a truck driver for 28 years so one side of his face was constantly exposed to uv rays

Until I read the article I thought he was only 28 years old so I wondered what he was eating, drinking and smoking or injecting to look so bad so young.

His must be an extreme case, considering how many people do that job for many more years and in sunny climates, otherwise they would have brought some kind of UV filters, at least for the drivers side window, on all trucks long ago and would have warned them not to lower their windows while moving.

So it's not just the affects of the sun, the wind and minute bits of dust and debris would have also had a big influence on the damage to his face.

I drove in uk for 48 years, right side is affected but definitely not to that degree,
Plus he probably drives USA or Europe in a left hand drive.

He must of driven somewhere really hot. I'm sure his ageing could of been reduced with the early use of a mirror and a good sun block.
