i done as you said. i changed it gradualy from 4.7 up to around 6 and nothing. so i then went down from 4.7 to 2.8.

now i get more channels without any fine tuning and they seem to change quicker aswel.

thanks again m8, you have saved me another trip up on the room again.

do i adjust the longy or lati to CHEIVE THIS I NO U said lati in post but then sherry posted 4.4 to 2.2 and my latitude is 53 something lol i m confused again lol

i changed my longitiude because in digidudes example he said:

eg

change from 3.1W to 3.2w then 3.3w then 3.4w and if it gets worse try 3.0w, 2.0w, 2,8w, etc

it is the longitude that has the lower figures and a W after it.

It is worth a try as it is easily chnged back if it doesnt work..... it worked a treat on mine :O)

its a way of slightly fooling the reciever into thinking everything is spot on with the dish if its not quite right

the reciever works out how far to turn the dish based on your lat/lon, so you can make the dish turn more or less than would be needed if the dish was bang on by telling the reciever you are further east or west than you really are

but shhhh, its a secret lol
