I want to install Adobe Ma$ter Collection CS6 for a student on a macbook pro with OS X 10.8.2 installed, found a tut etc for this and we have the dsg file downloaded, the thing is I have never used a Mac until last saturday (for around 15 mins), first job is to check entries in the hosts file and edit as necessary wtf is the delete key?. It says run "Osx /disable_activation_osx" if you don't know how to do that (and I don't) open a terminal window then issue "sudo -s" etc. I've done the sudo from terminal it said "to proceed enter password" nothing works, I'm assuming it's a sort of administrator privilege as far as the student knows there is no password! I could try and login as administrator or whatever (other than student) or maybe someone has an easy tut, I'll not get the macbook until saturday to try, TIA.
