a few things:

i scanned at a mates house on his sky dish and got free channels so i know box works....

software says 8/7/2004 so im guessing somewhere a update?

also trying to set up the box to pick up the free channels from italy here in the UK. My house mates silvercrest is dead, dish is outside pointing somewhere lol

she dont know the name of the sat or angle any help???

If it was recieving Italian FTA then the dish may be pointing at 13e as that's an Italian hotspot.

Try selecting 13e and try a scan.
