Hi all

I have just purchased a GlobalSat BT-308 Bluetooth GPS receiver to work with my o2 XDA 2 using TOM TOM 5.21 but am having problems finding the correct port and getting it all to work.

I have managed to use the XDA 2 to discover the receiver, but despite reading the instructions several times, that is as far as I have been able to go. No signal, no receiver, nothing.

Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Carla

first switch the receiver on and wait until it connects with the sat's, then load tomotm and select other device (I think) then select port 5 and give it a few mins to conenct.

Have you boned with the device and put any required pass key in ?

You need to create a new outgoing connection.
It should show you your BT GPS receiver as option which you then need to select.
It should then give you a port number choose "6"
Go into tomtom
Configure GPS
Select other GPS.
Then hopefully on the next screen one of the choices for the port will be "6"
Select that and it should now work.

Oh and the obvious.......check the xda is not in flight mode and the Bluetooth is switched on............cos I made that mistake....lol
