help needed

i have an original card that hasnt been used for a looooong time prolly about 2 yrs but i cannot program it with my elvis it will go thru the motions as if it is programed but when i stick it in the machine !nothing! does the lengh of time since use make a differance??

ARE YOU USEING MK 4FIND ? IF NOT YOU SHOULD<br />YOU CANT REPROGRAME AN ORIGINAL CARD BUT YOU CAN MODIFY IT WITH MK4 FIND TO TURN IT ON AGAIN.<br />FAZ

you need an active ppua + mk01 to turn your old card into a clone and remember to change pbm+lock it,if you dont have 0c+0D you will need to leave it on s** one over night to up date <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

cyc if you have done everything correctly and it wont work, one thing i would recommend is reading the pbm before alteration and then reading again after, sometimes the pbm says modified but it isnt, especialy when locked, also you must have the current operational, oc, od, oe keys in place (these turn green when successfuly written) and the expiry date set to 31/12/ 2001, the card should then work even without a current mk01 and ppua, but for update purposes it is best to have them, to check if a card has updated, press menu 6, 1 the date is there. gl.
