HELP NEEDED 5402 Hd!!

Hi can anybody help me please when i record any pro every thing fine when i play recording some time play back start freezing i am using usb 2.0 i try 2 different usb but same problem Much appreciated!!

I found that problem too with some usb pendrives, especially on playback of recorded HD channels. I now use Freecom portable hard drive which works ok most of the time.Reciever seems much more stable when connected with a faster hard drive.
You can go into the receiver's USB menu and check for your device's speed. I found that pendrives I tested were registering as slow compared to my Freecom, which I assume is why it's more stable.

Yup, LindsladeBoy is wright.
Should use a 'Turbo' 180X Type Usb Stick 8 Gb/16Gb/32 Gb (or a solid state drive)
-whatever- USB thingy. Formatted FAT32. Do not use a USB harddisk without extra Power as the Technomate cannot give enough power from USB only.
On the technomate Site there is this utility in order to format Your Drive(and a PDF with Info)

Also when Patched, beware it is less stable with Usb storage -sometimes- But seems better with newest Patch around. No more problems

On my tm5402hd I added a western digital 500Gb hard drive with it's own power never had any problems recording or in playback, picked it up from Argos for under £50. Also has the latest patch and no probs at all with it.
