help me im stuck

i have had my 360 for almost 1 year now and when i turn it on, the light around the power switch flashes red and nothing else happens can anyone help me with this.

howmany red segments flash red matey? from sounds of your post id guess all 4 if so i think thats a display cable error check ur cable is plugged into the back of 360 good and also the other end is well connected to tv if still same try a different lead 1st

thanx alot guys i had a look at the stickys at the top and i have resolved that matter but ive got a new one, now the computer boots up and goes to dashboard then about 30 secs later the screen goes black and and two red lights are now flashing any help please.
