HELP - How would i repair this - Yellow light after bad flash ??

Hi

This item is local to me and never had a PS3, is it worth having a go repairing or would i be wasting my time ?

wasting your time, the E flasher hasn't been attached to the chip correctly, nothing to do with a "bad flash" ....I'd say "leave it" mate, I know that there's a bit of soldering etc. to do to get it back, pootas is your man, he had the same thing happen if i remember correctly.

Nope I've actually bricked it!! I updated the e3,then read nor... Then after that I get what appears to be ylod....

I need to solder nor tri state to gnd but ain't got a decent solder iron here....

True;
but if he has a bad Dump at the first time and he flashed without validating,
nothing can be done at all,
or if the Bois Data (Per Console Data) is Ok he can recover it,
