Phone Unlocking help cant send text on n95

I bought a nokia,it was on the 3 network and i got it unlocked but now i cant get it to send text messages. any help would be grateful.

you might need to change the message centre number

The message centre in my n95 8gb on the 3 network is the number "3"

My mate had exactly the same problem the other week on o2. they culd receive, but not send texts. They changed the message centre number and it worked straight away. Their message centre number was a normal +44 **** ****** number.

Which network are you on? You might want to either call them for the number or just do a quick google.

you could also just ask your network to send the settings. o2 do it from there website, dunno about other providers.

I had the same problem on a N95 8gb and the settings message didn't do it, I had to manually enter the number.

same thing with me yesterday on n78, rang 02 and the number was wrong, +44 number.
just ring them and they`ll walk you through it mate. no probs

You can find the message centre number following the steps below mate. It should start +44 and you can get it from service provider. To change it, just highlight it and choose options then change.
