had my knee op yesterday

Went to doctors this morning to have hospital dresssing removed and a smaller dressing put on. Couldn't believe how small the incisions were, really neat.
My bad news is that I have osteoarthritis in the knee, which usually only gets worse.

sorry to hear that mate, was that just diagnosed today?? or did it show on mri etc.. before the op?

It was diagnosed during the op, but only saw the report at the doctors today.
I had an feeling it was osteoarthritis from the outset of my knee pain because I hadn't knocked, twisted or had any trauma to my knee.
Hey, it's all part of getting old and it's nothing compared to what some others on the forum are having to endure. My thoughts are with them.
