Hi, I just got a Forware Path Attenuator 10db with one of the digi box's that i picked up at a car boot sale near me.

What is it for and how much are they worth?? Is it one of those Cable filter thingies that give you free PPV??

I have enclosed a pic of the fron and the back. Its high resolution so you can zoom right in and read what it says on the front and back.

All it is for is dropping the signal into the box so that it does not swamp the front-end of the reciever.

Nothing too unusual.

Sorry what does that mean?

Anyhting to do with making the talk back work better or worst??

Should i be using it for a modded box with the talk cut?

The attenuator works by dropping the incoming signal from the cable feed, if the signal coming in is too high you can lose channels so this stops that. the same can also be said for a weak incoming signal, It has no effect whatsoever with the talkback, and yes you should use a modded box with talkback cut.
