Forum seems slow to post again

The only times I get it slow is when the forums doing something, backups it will grind to a halt while it backs up, it won't do anything (I think 1am, 11am, 4pm and 8pm but not 100% without looking at the crons - that I run), but the forum also has clean up crons it runs at various times and with a database that is 8gb these crons can and will be intensive).

I mean are these slow times all day or are they just occasional occurrences?

It can be slow for me at times but not took much notice of times tbh
