DVD PLAYER help please

oldest bro geting married in a couple of months daft cxxt lol,

gonna buy him a pacific 750 dvd player £85.00 squid from asda ,


but read some reviews that the vcd side of playing is disabled cause of copyright ,

or it will play them at first then slowly after months,

anyone know of a similar one that is guaranteed to play most formats around the £ 120..00 mark,

any advice would be gratefull,

just found question answered by good old davidh in another post will buy the scneider model from asda for an extra tenner,

If its the Schneider 810 at asda it does't play svcd....
