A very similar setup to the OP but with some better components at more than £10 less.
Just trying to help fellow forum members out and not spoiling the OP.
I built the exact same setup earlier this year and the onbaord graphics ran Vista Ultimate with nice effects, i.e. fading in and out of menus, full see through menus etc. Vista Ultimate ran smoothly enough even with just 1gb. But obviously I did not game on it, you would need a decent card in there if you want to play anything more than the SIMS.
damn this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125199 is out of stock any suggestions on a backup one?do i need a fan inside to cool the cpu?
Either go for this marginally expensive ( 8 Pounds) X2 4400+ http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125197, or buy an oem version of X2 4200+ http://www.ebuyer.com/product/133145, but you'll need to buy a suitable heatsink and fan combo.
Hope this helps.
Yup as totalgenius stated get the 4400+. it won't break the bank and it's a decent performer.
If costs are a must I could save you about £6 by getting that 4200+ and an aftermarker cooler.
The 4200 is in the link above and get this cooler, it will work fine with it:

Total cost is less than £46 and you will have a little room for overclocking with that cooler if you ever need to.
