Rang expedia today checking itenery etc.
The girl on the phone said i might need to update my licence as the paper part as been updated.
Im only renting a car for 9 days does anyone know if shes right.

I thought paper part was abolished.

I have the counterpart manic as my license is only 5yrs old.
I have the plastic and the paper prob as its n.i. and we are 20 yrs behind anyone else.
Was reading on google and i might be alright.

new rules on hiring car you need a code to share your details

View or share your driving licence information - GOV.UK

oh and don't use code once ye get it or will need another

also take both parts of the licence you have
