Dreambox 7020 si gone blank

Hi All,

My Dreambox froze during the night. Switched it off and disconnected it from mains. Tried to boot it up again and blank. The little green screen is empty and not picture on the t.v. I was using the Gemeni 4.6. Am I the victim of a time bomb. If so what can I do?

That sound familiar, the same happened on my DM7000

Installed Gemini 4.60 on it, next morning it froze and refused to boot up again.

I did manage to get it to talk to my PC using Dreamup but it just refused to fire up again. In the end i had to jtag it to bring it back to life.

I have a tendency now to avoid Gemini images as lets face it there are images that are just as good out there if not better.

I've been using S.I.F 1.9.3d on my DM600PVR and it stays up longer and freezes less than it did with Gemini on it.

If Gemini were capable of doing what they did with the 500 they are capable of doing it with any image on any receiver.

They are well and truly in Dream Multimedias back pocket. I wouldn't trust them as far as i could throw them :grayno:
