downgrading vista

i want to downgrade my vista laptop to xp but cant find the drivers on the manufacturer website. ive also had a look on the net but cant find any info about it.

The laptop is a HP dv2535ea.

Any ideas?

I don't know how well you know your way around a PC but if you go to driverpacks.net

You can create a CD with about 15,000 drivers which you can use to fix your XP installation.

Why downgrade ? i upgraded my laptop to vista and it works better than with xp !

I would have to agree, Vista is at least as good as XP Pro - better in my opinion, but its not the best for everyone.

the problem with the laptop is its not as fast as my other laptop which is ancient and running on xp. it also takes a good 5 mins to startup after a shutdown so i tend to jus put it in sleep mode all the time.

i think i might email hp and see what they say.
