If you are 100% sure all the details are entered correctly then the protocol setting (Emulator in the menu) is usually the one that gets missed, a line starting with C = Cccamd, N = NewCamd or mgcamd (depends on the server - try both), there are plenty more supported but it's highly unlikely to be anything but those three.

No plugin mate - epg works but not the same as E2 as you are restricted to the software.
