VU+ Duo dns address freezes, ip address does not freeze

hi all, why would my vu+duo freeze when decoding scrambled channels when using dns, but has no freezing when using the ip address. any ideas?

on local network it is the IP addy you use not dns

Take fix IP address for your BOX outside the DHCP range in your router.

example:
Your router has a starting IP adress in DHCP 192.168.1.10
and maximum DHCP users 100

example :
If you use for your BOX FIX IP 192.168.1.150

probably will all work without problems .
