DM800 HD Clone

I have a DM800 HD clone 201 sim and have been having a lot of problems with the tuner. Ie failing on HD channels and getting failed to tune intermittant. Sometimes it works sometimes it dont. Done lot of reading and its probably the tuner so im going to replace it. the tuner it currently has is an Alps BSBE2-801A. Can anyone advise if this is the latest tuner to replace, ie like for like. I did read about the Rev G tuner but dont think i will go there as its not a straight swap ie the holes and i understand not much testing.
I do also have a DM800se and that is tuning and working fine on the same line, so I know the LNB is ok and the connections etc are all good. Any advise as to a replacement is appreciated.

you could also swap over from 800 to 800se & vice versa to test tuners

different backplate but for testing wont matter

I wasnt sure if the tuners could be swapped for testing. But thats what i will to confirm its the tuner and replace. Quick reply appreciated.

Installed a new tuner bought on-line and all is now working fine

I have 2 dm800hd and I want to put them on the OE 2.0
OoZooN-release-4.0-dm800-OE2.0--ramiMAHER # ssl84D,
ssl84D I can not find, but I have a loader ssl84.
Can I replace ssl84D on ssl84???

think that image is patched with ssl84D so you can just flash without updating bootloader
