First and foremost I am sorry this question is related to cable, but my provider uses NDS which is more relevant to satellite, hence posting it here:

My cable company uses NDS for their smartcards. I was wondering if it is possible to use my legitimate card and do the following:
1. Use the subscriber card with DM600 PVR (which has a DVB-C tuner).
2. Start a newcs server in Dm600
3. Access the keys from a computer which again has a DVB-C tuner. Use the computers tuner to tune the channels. The coax cable will be connected to the computer.
4. Use the PVR functions of the computer.
So in essence i want the DM600 to act like a card reader only. I am not sure if the card needs to auto-update what will happen. I guess i need to connect the coax to Dm600 as well.
Do you think the above setup will work? The underlying question is whether my legitimate subscriber card could be read by DM600?
