if your talking about sound it gos over dvi with out a prob on the 800 and 8000 as they give you a cable or you can just buy a converter out of maplins if you need a longer cable im not sure why they changed to dvi on this new receiver and with dream im not sure we will ever find out

What about the broadcast encrytpion, I heard this dont work on DVI only HDMI.
