dm500 help commando image 14.6

I had a similar problem and flashed orig firmware then reflashed commando and it worked. So its worth a try
If that doesnt work try a fresh download of the commando from here and try it

We should be able to try C14.7 very soon now, but in the meantime, the release version of C14.6 will keep you going. and just carefully add in your own personal stuff if needed...

Thanks to all you guys that helped this chap out!! Cheers- AL ;)

a very big thanks,

i will try file downloaded here just before put original firmware on.

for some reason the enigma seemed to give me a better picture/sharper......on the few itv channels i could get.
will now try putting commando on,

thanks

no,i am not sure what to do thanks again.

i have read on another post about a boot tool blank image and put that on to remove any corrupt files.

but i am scratching my head because the original firmware worked.

can be no harm in trying.

also i am using dreamup v 1.3.3.9.............and some posts advised using another.

but i am sure i am using the same dreamup i used 6 months ago.

thanks again.

hi

just a point I read sometime ago that some of an image could be left from previous images
so flash erase berore new image flash
ie if there has been 5 images flashed before flash erase 5 times before new image flash

this has worked for me in the past (I usally flash telnet method) then if for some reason the image frezzes on start up
I use dream up to flash the new image but firstly flash erasing lots of times

hope this may help
