dm 500 bricked?

could anyone advise me if my dm 500 s is now bricked? I tried to reflash it using dreamup, after deleting to old flash I tried to load a new flash to the box and on doing this I managed to dislodge the power lead so the box became unpowered and flash install failed.i tried to reconnect but this time dreamup did not connect to the box..probably nothing I can do now but anybody know if theres a fix?

try Dream Up with a null modem cable that will sort it out for you

Hi napster, thanks for your reply, I should have mentioned I was using dreamup and null modem cable on it when I dislodged power lead to the dm500, resulting in no longer being able to connect to the box on retrying to flash with dreamup and null cable..

only way might be jtag but i have only managed this on 1 dm500
other 2 i tried where dead and binned

one thing u can try if u haven't yet if you put the ip of your dm in take the tick out of use network and try again to c if it picks the dm up its slower but worth a try
