Hi all

I have been given a Di4001N box to try and fix but i can't find the fault,
i am getting power but no display i have changed display but still no good,
as anyone had this before and fixed it.

Are you getting an output from the scart to the tv when you boot the box or is the box truely dead ......

just tried that and left it on for ten minutes but still a blnk screen

that sound's like one of TWOBEERCANS fav problems ....... The TOP233y chopper on the power supply is possibly fecked along with the capacitor underneath it on the other side of the board. Change these and the board may? come back to life ...... (has worked for me twice in the past)

lid off looking from behind (my fav ... lol)
lefthand side to right of a large capacitor and behind the red transformer. it's mounted an a large metal heat sink .....with a big hv spark symbol pointing at it ..... also take great care with it 'cos it'll give you one hell of a fecking belt if you touch it live !!!!!!!evil:

were is the best place to bye the parts from
as my box gone wrong looked inside and the top223y
has gone.
