D Digital Help Needed

Hi all, looking for any advice on this box, got it from a friend, to try and get up and running the box is called ENVISION but is a D Digital set top box, excactly the same as the following :

I can pick up all the channels fine but can only view the FTA channels, its as if the firmware does not have auto-update within, and i do not know where or what menu to go to, to manually enter the current keys, any help with this box would be highly appriciated,ie updating, flashing, software anything that will help retrieve the other locked encryted channels.
