This got me suspicious so i opened up the box to confirm it was a 2X image.
Lo and behold it was a 1X.
I took the commando imagage and converted it to a 1X without bootloader with imageworks and flashed the box and hey presto, it all works

I have downloaded this, done a scan and it seems to show just about all the chanels. but I can only watch fta chanels, can anybody please advise me, thanks in advance( sorry to be a nuisance, but i don't have much idea about the box)

Have you added the magic or educational files lol? Search the forum and you should find the solution you require.

If you read the 1st post of this thread, the section highlighted in red you will see that you need some extra files. If you don't update these files you will only be able to view FTA. Check the threads for new images such as laky sylas and you will learn more. If you don't want the hassle you can download an AU image from the bigmaq toolbar.

If you just want a standard epg mate, delete the epgfilter, otherwise the epgfilter in this image requires that you have the channels you want a forward epg for to be dropped into the epgfilter.xml.
