Comet going into Administration

went to my local store, offered £150 for a sammy 32inch led tv. priced at £300.
was told, can only offer 10% discount on ticketed prices. so i walked out

selling 50cm long HDMI leads for £69.99 they should be swimming in profit lol

My sister-in-law got 10% off an iPad 2. Not the best deal in the world but unusual to get anything off Apple products?
HH.

i went today bought a i5 samsung laptop for £367 so am happy with that

Their "liquidated" stock sale is no better than one of their standard sales at any time without the looming issues of a complete and utter closedown.

Administrators will not doubt be trying to salvage what they can, but until they realise that without a drastic cost reduction they are simply not going to get the sales, in fact if anything online retailers just before Christmas are probably still going to keep customers focus. Comet need to be looking at 25% minimum in order to offload all that stock.

Hardly think me or anyone else will be rushing out to Comet, when their sale prices reflect no difference than me being able to buy something from Play or Amazon.

They can blame whatever supplier, costs, policy, credit line etc, but they were plain and simple, rude, overpriced and nothing but a store you could go to to handle products before you bought them elsewhere.
