Some websites that have live video only allow users from that country to view the video. I assume the site detects the IP address and determines which country you're in.

Is there a way to fool the sites into thinking you're from the host country so that you can view the video?

For example today for the BBC you can only watch the tennis live if you're from the UK. I know you can watch Saturday on Setanta website if not from the UK.

Thanks

You can search for a proxy server which you can connect through. There are websited dedicated to this if you search for "proxy list" on Google.

They tend to degrade the connection speed and may not support streaming media.

Same advise, use a proxy service however expect a performance hit and may not support all services.

Thanks

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try out and get back to you.

Will this also help mask P2P activity from my IP address?
