Chelsea have sacked manager Graham Potter after less than seven months in charge following Saturday's 2-0 home defeat by Aston Villa.
It was the Englishman's 11th defeat in 31 games since replacing Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge on 8 September.
Chelsea have dropped to 11th in the Premier League - 12 points outside the top four - having spent more than £550m on new players this season.
The club's owners said they were "disappointed" to sack Potter.

It was stupid appointment by dumb owners who seem to know sweet fa about football.

...seriously like are these guys idiots.
Yes, they are, but as a short-term appointment to see them through the fag end of the season, while they try and attract a big name, I think it makes sense.

They're highly unlikely to beat Real Madrid and they're not going to be relegated, so what's the worst that could happen?

Frank Lampard has now lost each of the last 10 matches he’s taken charge of across all competitions – he is the first English manager to lose 10 in a row while in charge of a top-flight team since Arthur Cox in February 1988 with Derby.

It's shocking. No one seems to think they can get regulated but they could as they are playing some top teams in the final run in.

I don't see them getting any points the rest of the season
