Can't connect to DM800se e channeliser

DCC will connect to this box no problem so not user/password or ip problem.
I don't like messing with these boxes now but been asked to install IPTV on it by a PITA mate.
Has anyone had this problem before

Never had any problems no. What is the error message just a generic fault to connect ?

I guess you will of tried rebooting all your kit router box etc ?

Might be worth trying another version of e-channelizer to start eliminating possible causes.

Thanks Ferret. Error is "Unable to connect to STB via FTP. Check IP address, Port, FTP Service and PC Firewall.

If it was any of the above then it wouldn't connect through DCC either. I will find another copy of e channeliser

Just downloaded an earlier version and still said it couldn't connect. Pressed read and it read it!!
Will start reading up on the next stages later when the Golf's finished

Sorry mate it's all done, lol. When testing connection it would say fail but just clicking on read and it would work.
Have loaded his m3u file and everything is working except epg/description, he can take it as it is.
