Can you remember...... the name of 80's arcade game??

Actually, can some one help me out? I remember one from early (late 70s-early 80s), space shooter job, but when the game finished, there was a little circle of LEDs that lit up, if it stopped in the right place you got a free life (or credit, not sure). Any ideas anyone?

{edit} I've asked this on a few of the classic gaming forums but no-one answered!

What was tha game that you shoot tanks, you could hide behind cones and cubes. I think it was Tank Attack, can you confirm?

I can find ROM, but you'd need the associated Emulator to play it.

thanks m8 ive downloaded the file how do i get to play the game,i know you say need the associated Emulator to play it how do i get that please,,,,
thankyou

I couldn't get that file to work m8.

I had a lot more luck with this one.

Download the Emulator from here:
http://www.romnation.net/srv/emulators/73/mame/MAME32-v0-103-for-Windows.html

And the ROM from here:
http://www.romnation.net/srv/roms/23963/mame/Mr-Do.html

Unzip the MAME emulator wherever you want.

DON'T unzip the Mr.Do ROM.
Copy the zipped file to the roms folder within the MAME folder.

Run the mame32.exe file
Go to Options - Directories...
Show directories for ROM's
Click insert, then point to youe MAME directory & then the roms folder within it & OK.

Once you've done that, then click on the Available option on the left hand menu.

Mr.Do should be there.

5 to insert a coin
1 for One Player

Arrows to move
Ctrl to fire

To configure the controls, press P to pause & TAB for settings, you can set the input options from here.

Now if that isn't worth some good rep, then nothing is :)

Happy gaming!!

Apparently these are games known to work with MAME, you'll need to do a search for MAME ROM's.

Here's a starter :)

I can get them to work.

How about clicking on the scales icon at the left hand side.
<--------- Over there
And leave me some rep :)

Press F5

That should refresh the games list.
I'm playing Dig Dug at the mo' :)
Show directories for ROM's
