Power supply should be fine. Just make sure you connect the 2x4pin plugs into the 8 pin connector near the CPU as a lot of boards won't boot without it plugged in.

Even if it and the RAM aren't compatible (which I cannot see being a problem with the PSU), you're covered by the distance selling regs which give you 7 days from the day after receipt to return for any reason.

Thanks. Both the board and the PSU have a 24 pin power connector. Do I still use the 8 pin one instead?

ok thanks for your help. you can probably tell this is my first full build lol. I've replaced almost every part, but never needed to do a whole system at once, i'm just a little nervous i'll buy all the parts and it won't boot lol

Fortunatly the power cables are shaped to only fit one way.

But, I know what you mean. It took me a full day to build my first PC about 4 years ago - and that didn't include installing windows...
