HI all,

Can I use TomTom on my 8gb ? using the internal gps ?

Have had a search about but cant seem to find any posts that point to how to do it with the 8bg

Hi mate, yes you can.

BinPDA did a release with a hack to allow you to use the internal GPS on the N95. Have a search and report back if you can't find it.

i had tomtom working on my n95 but now it has stopped working and i am unable to re-install it

make sure you totally delete all the tom tom stuff before trying to reinstall it m8.

make sure its also deleted on your APPs manager.

I have tomtom on mine with patch for internal GPS works but takes ages finding GPS sattelites...I installed garmin with UK maps and it picks up GPS within seconds....if anyone interested search torrent sites

Route 66 and Sygic have symbian gps software which also works pretty wel, also available torrent sites and the like.
