broken sd card

I did not know where to post this

As the heading says the plastic surounding of my sd card have opened up in half, is there anyway to replace the casing of the circuit?

Personally I'd glue the two halves together, pull the data off and bin it.

However, some manufacturers offer "lifetime" warranties on their portable media... just be prepared to lose any data on the card.

That is the problem my camera or pc wont read it, just got new photos/video on it from my recent holiday with my son

Any pictures of the damaged card? Close-ups?

I think the SD drives with a spring lock mech only power the card once it is locked in, try using a slide in type drive if you haven't already
