Broken PSP E1003?

Had my PSP E1003 for a month or so, yesterday when I tried to charge it, it completely blacked out. The light won't even turn on. Is the motherboard or battery fried?

Never mind, I think the AC adaptor I was using is faulty. I dug my old one out from my ancient technology troves, and that's done the trick. Sorry for double posting or something.
