Seems to be quite a common theme where remainers feel they have a higher IQ than Brexiteers who couldn't possibly understand what they were voting for.
What the fook happened to her?

The trouble is it was a dirty campaign, with many lies being told on both sides. Sensible debate seems to be a thing of the past and campaigners have learned how to appeal to people's emotions rather than common sense, so crowd-pleasers tend to get their way. How else do you suppose Trump got in?
> THIS < article illustrates the point quite well.

I find it difficult to believe that, from the beginning, no one from any of the media sources ie newspapers, television, pro brexiteers MP'S or remainers MP.S have made it clear to the general public that it was to be expected that the EU would not make it easy to leave. The general public STILL don't understand this, whereas anyone with half a brain should have seen it coming, especially those elected by the general public to represent them.
They had to show the other 27 members how difficult it would be.
Can't blame them really, I would have done the same thing

That is certainly a very valid point, but even if they had made it easy, the notion that leaving the EU would be a simple process shows either stunning naivety or downright dishonesty by those who were preaching it.

The media are less interested than ever in reporting the truth, they are more interested in sales and clicks. Sensational reporting yields better results than the truth.

"Those elected by the general public to represent them" don't, full stop. They represent themselves, in it for what they can get, and Farage is a prime example.

I knew what i voted for and no one lied to me about it ;)
common ReMoaner remarks>>
"you did not know what you where voting for" and you did but not me?
"you voted on a base of lies" and they did not lie to you but to me?

I would like just to say to ReMoaners that you can get very good deals on one way tickets to your beloved eu

Who is Nigel & Boris? I don`t know them, also what did they tell you?

I got my one way ticket in 67 so was not eligible to vote, either in the referendum or any of the elections after 67, so I don't really have an axe to grind. The last time I set foot in the UK was after an absence of 12 years and I could not believe what I was seeing/hearing and could not get out of the place fast enough, before I got myself locked up for doing or saying something which was quite acceptable when I left in 67 but no longer was acceptable. ( and I didn't become a resident here in the EU, Spain until 6 years ago)
What I would suggest is that people with the same attitude as JN should perhaps take the blinkers off and have a look at a different newspaper, stop remembering how your father voted, and take a gap year to see how the rest of the world lives. And then find an MP to vote for who doesn't work for the himself and the socialists party.

Sorry, need to edit and say that the last paragraph should have started with "IMHO"

My father is a foreigner like me and he did not live here in 67", I`m am a legal immigrant and I know what it is like to live abroad, I voted out, I don`t read news papers or listen to bbc news, you best get packing to come home soon if you you believe the fake news/scaremongering tales and I too ;)

Where is the 350 then. Or did they lie or not.

Don't know, don't care. The amount is immaterial to me. There is far more to take into account than the vast amount of money the UK ploughs into it. What we all need to do is accept that the vote was to leave. Bitching about it ain't gonna change nothing.

You believed the lies. Shit sandwiches
