We have had a hideaway one for over 30 years, very reliable and serviced every year, cannot get spares for it so will replace if an hen it finally dies.

Well guys nearly a year and boiler gone again..how crap are these vaillant 831 boilers...got classic fault code f28 failure ignition start up...any ideas?..gas supply fine, I'm assuming it's a failure of the ignition electrodes..probably got crap built on them...anyway can I clean these myself ?..or replace?..ta
