bloody sex emails keep coming!!!

hey guy,

im getting really pissed off with all this pornagraphic emails that im getting, well they all contain links to click on...this all started when i joined "fullreleases.com" cos i wanted to download some software for the pc, however i joined through an adult site, ever since i keep getting hundreds of emails, how do i stop them permenantly, they are from different email addresses...

An attempt at "to remove yourself from this email, click here" only confirms that there is a human at the other end, guarrateed to get you more and more.

An anti spam filter mate its the only way and they arent guaranteed. Get your self a blag email from hotmail or somewhere and use that for your future dodgy signups.

the problem is that they are not from just one domain, if that was the case, i suppose you could block or filter out all emails coming from that domain, each email is seny by an individual user with there own specific email address...i could block each address but how long will that take...

as 'Bard' said - change yr email addy - its the only way, and once u have done that, only give it out to people u trust. ive got two addys - one for 'dodgy' areas and the other for 'secure' ones..........

Do they have similiar subjects? Because you can filter them that way also. Block key words from the subjects. That's what I do with invitations to social networking sites.

Yes I agree. The only way is to open a new email address with say Hotmail or Yahoo and use that for your personal emails (i.e. Do not give the addy to anyone except friends) Keep your current to get the crap you are receiving now.
If you are with AOL I know that they have some serious anti spam features in their email client and it is worth using.Hotmail has a junk mail filter as does Yahoo but they won't catch all.

The Best anti spam is Spambayse. Its free and very good. Not sure if it works on outlook 2007 though.

I used to get loads a few yrs ago on my hotmail, used to "report and send to junk", but didnt notice a significant change, eventually followed the unsubscribe links at the bottom of the emails, eventually stopped! get the odd couple a week selling me viagra...
