Best image for DM800

Hi, help a noob

I'm currently running nabilosat blackhole (that's what came pre-installed on my box)
but the download manager is not working and some other things are annoying me about this box!

I think its time to change the image - so if you can give me some advice on what is the best image to use
& is it easy to install?

See this thread, it has the flashing guide. Make sure you update the bootloader first, 84d is latest.

Hi, tanks I didn't get round to doing this last weekend !
but I will try today.. I think I'm going to go with openpli - with regard to updating the bootloader, please can you let me know how to do that or do the images contain that aswell

rather old will need to upgrade bootloader if you want newer image fairly easy

I just cant flash anything to this box by the web interface .. it just hangs
doesn't upload the file(s)

I have ordered a null modem cable incase that is the only way to do it ..

& I can now flash images with the web browser
