NOOOOO!

Somebody's played the Brian May card. Quick.... run and hide.... don't look back, save yourselves! They'll be quoting the piano solo on Kim Appleby's Don't Worry next or the synh bass on the Johnny Hates Jazz back catalogue.

There's only one Yngwie Malmsteen. Classical and electric guitar GOD !! :champion:

Free bird for me also like Status quo live version of forty five hundred times. Some nice guitar work from Mr rossi in that one :)

Iconic intro to this song.(especially if you remember the lucozade adverts with Daley Thompson all those years back)

My dad used to work for Steve Harris and I met the band at his house when I was around 13 which got me into the band and genre so Iron Maiden will remain one of my favourites and this song though not the best has as I say a great intro.

IRON MAIDEN: Phantom Of The Opera (Live) - YouTube

Not really the greatest solo you`ll ever hear but good, all the same.
Brings back some great memories

I do like all sorts of music but I mainly listen to Heavy Metal, Heavy Rock, Prog Rock however just as a guitar exercise this i believe is better than the Chuck Berry original

The guitar riff / solo really kicks in at 2m20s it makes me smile every time i listen, tbh i am not keen on any other Reggae tunes.

Not Brit., but how about Celino Romero playing La Paloma on Youtube somewhere.

The best guitar solo of all time has to be Hotel California by the Eagles, sheer class
