DVB - PC Cards BBC HD Footy

With the footy being on bbc hd this afternoon i thought i try it out in vista mce. picture fine but no audio...tried installing aac and ac3 codecs but no joy,...anyone no the specific codec or should i install ffdshow...? don't fancy using any codec packs as i hear these cause big issues in mce.

any help appreciated.

intervideo uses the ac3 fine
